Coastal Electric of Florida is seeking a Commercial Electrical Project Manager to lead high-impact commercial electrical installations in the Jacksonville area. You will manage budgets, schedules, and field teams to ensure profitable project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of commercial electrical project management or field leadership experience in Jacksonville market.

• Core proficiency reading electrical drawings, specifications, contracts, and one-line diagrams.
• Proven experience managing project budgets, labor forecasts, procurement, and billing.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial electrical projects from award to closeout, including warranty phases.
• Establish budgets, cost codes, labor forecasts and cost-to-complete projections.
• Negotiate change orders, process submittals, and oversee subcontracts.
• Conduct site visits to verify progress and safety compliance.
• Lead kickoff and turnover meetings with estimating, accounting, and purchasing units.
• Maintain documentation including RFIs, billings, cash-flow reports, and schedules.

The Opportunity

You will drive commercial electrical construction projects from initial turnover through final closeout across the greater Jacksonville market. Working within a rapidly growing company that maintains a supportive family feel, you will directly control project profitability, schedules, and team performance. Your leadership will protect financial outcomes while expanding key industry relationships.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Manage commercial electrical projects from contract award through closeout and warranty phases.
• Establish project budgets, cost codes, labor forecasts, and cost-to-complete projections.

• Conduct jobsite visits to inspect progress, verify safety compliance, and direct field teams.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of commercial electrical project management or field leadership experience in Jacksonville Market.
• Valid driver's license and ability to visit jobsites throughout greater Jacksonville.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, construction methods, and the NEC.
• Core proficiency reading electrical drawings, specifications, contracts, and one-line diagrams.
• Proven experience managing project budgets, labor forecasts, procurement, and billing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• 7 or more years of commercial electrical project management or field leadership experience.
• Experience in the Jacksonville, Orlando, or Palm Coast commercial construction markets.
• Hands-on experience with Trimble Vista project management and accounting software.
• Completed Trade Program or Technical Certification.
