Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Electrician for new construction and tenant improvements across California. The role involves night shifts, on-site work, and travel as needed to project sites.

You will install conduit, wiring, panels, and control systems, read blueprints, coordinate with foremen, and ensure compliance with codes. Four years of commercial construction experience required.

Qualifications

• Ability to commute to various jobsites.
• Availability for third shifts or overnight schedules as needed.
• Ability to perform physical work including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, walking, and climbing.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and secure conduit and cabling per specs and codes.
• Install wiring, raceways, junction boxes, and electrical components.
• Pull, feed, and terminate conductors in panels, switchgear, transformers, and distribution systems.
• Build, install, and troubleshoot control panels and related systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical installations and system malfunctions.
• Coordinate with foremen and other trades to maintain schedule.
• Read blueprints and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation.

Description

Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a trusted regional provider of skilled trade services, supporting commercial new construction, tenant improvements, and electrical services for our clients. We are currently seeking a Commercial Electrician for new construction and tenant improvement projects at various stages. This role requires flexibility in scheduling, including overnight shifts, and travel assignments.

Schedule

• Sunday - Thursday 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and secure various types of conduit and cabling, including EMT, PVC, MC cable, flexible conduit, CAT5/6, RMC, and Romex
• Install wiring, raceways, junction boxes, and electrical components in accordance with project specifications and applicable electrical codes
• Pull, feed, and terminate conductors in panels, switchgear, transformers, distribution systems, and control equipment
• Build, install, and troubleshoot control panels and related systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical installation issues and system malfunctions
• Perform refrigeration and/or HVAC motor control wiring (preferred)
• Assist with or perform Ansul system installations (preferred)
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation
• Coordinate with foremen and other trades to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
• May perform other jobsite related duties assigned by the foreman

Requirements

• A minimum of four years of experience in commercial construction
• Ability to commute to various jobsites
• Availability to work third shifts or overnight schedules as needed
• Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, walking, squatting, and ascending or descending stairs
• Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights (including lifts), and in inclement weather
