Maetz Consulting, LLC is seeking an Electrical Service Technician – Commercial (2nd Shift) in Covington, GA. This full-time role covers Covington and surrounding job sites within roughly 90 miles.

The technician will handle on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and new installations for commercial customers, primarily schools and government facilities. Evening pay incentives apply, and a company vehicle may be provided with an acceptable MVR.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of verifiable electrical field experience.
• Strong skills in commercial electrical maintenance, repair and troubleshooting.
• Experience performing field service work, inspections, and service documentation.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers.
• Valid electrician license or certification as required in Georgia; knowledge of NEC and local codes.
• Safe operation of tools and test equipment per OSHA standards.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel across Covington and surrounding areas.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform on‑site maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and new installations for commercial clients.
• Interpret electrical drawings and complete detailed service documentation.
• Coordinate with customers and supervisors to schedule work and support project timelines.
• Provide professional communication with customers and ensure safety compliance.
• Work across Covington and surrounding areas, including job sites within roughly 90 miles.
