Job summary

Renu Energy Solutions seeks an experienced Commercial Electrical Supervisor to lead field installation of solar, energy storage, and EV infrastructure across the Carolinas. The role blends hands-on field leadership with supervision of crews and subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and on-schedule delivery.

The supervisor will bridge our Commercial Operations and installation teams, oversee drawings and specs, troubleshoot issues, and uphold Renu’s standards for safety and customer

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina electrical license (Unlimited preferred).
• 5+ years commercial electrical with NEC knowledge.
• 2+ years leading crews in foreman/supervisor roles.
• Strong communication and coordination with engineering, PMs, inspectors, customers.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel; able to adapt to varied job sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field installation of commercial solar, energy storage, EVSE, and data systems.
• Provide day-to-day electrical oversight to installation crews and subcontractors.
• Review engineering drawings and project specs; communicate field changes.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting on site.
• Participate in preconstruction meetings and site walks; identify requirements.
• Support takeoffs, BOMs, purchase requests, job packs; coordinate with Purchasing/Warehouse.
• Oversee post-install inspections, commissioning, and closeout activities.
• Maintain safe, organized jobsite; enforce OSHA and company safety protocols.
• Coordinate with Commercial Operations and Array teams to keep projects on schedule.
• Maintain project documentation with daily updates, photos, commissioning docs, closeout lists.

Renu Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Supervisor to provide hands-on electrical leadership for commercial solar, energy storage, and EV infrastructure projects throughout the Carolinas. This position is ideal for an experienced electrician who is comfortable working in the field while also leading installation teams, overseeing subcontractors, reviewing project plans, troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.

The Commercial Electrical Supervisor will serve as a key field resource between our Commercial Operations team and installation crews, helping ensure each project meets Renu's standards for safety, quality, efficiency, and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field installation of commercial solar PV, energy storage, EVSE, and data collection systems.
• Provide day-to-day electrical oversight and direction to Renu installation crews and subcontractors.
• Review engineered drawings, electrical plans, permitted plan sets, and project specifications before and during installation; communicate field changes immediately to Commercial Operations.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to field teams and help ensure electrical work meets project specifications and quality standards.
• Participate in electrical scope site walks and preconstruction meetings and help identify project requirements, potential challenges, materials, and specialty equipment.
• Support project takeoffs, bills of materials, purchase requests, job packs, and coordination with Purchasing and Warehouse teams.
• Oversee post-installation inspections, quality-control checks, commissioning, and project closeout activities.
• Maintain a safe, organized jobsite and ensure crews follow OSHA requirements and Renu safety protocols.
• Coordinate closely with Commercial Operations and Array installation teams to keep projects on schedule and resolve field issues.
• Maintain required project documentation, including daily updates, photos, commissioning documentation, and closeout checklists.

Requirements

• Active North Carolina Electrical License (Unlimited preferred), eligible to serve as a company qualifier under the existing license.
• 5+ years of commercial electrical experience with strong NEC knowledge and proficiency in reading and interpreting plan sets.
• 2+ years of experience leading crews in a foreman, superintendent, or supervisor capacity.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with engineering, Project Managers, inspectors, and customers.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel; comfortable working in varying job-site conditions.
