Job summary

DKD Enterprises is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, maintain, and install electrical systems at commercial and industrial facilities. You will respond to service calls, troubleshoot issues, and communicate professionally with customers and project managers.

Essential duties include reading blueprints, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety and quality on every job. NM license is preferred; strong NEC knowledge and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience preferred.
• New Mexico electrical license or appropriate electrical certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems independently.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work.
• Diagnose electrical problems using meters, testing equipment, and proper troubleshooting techniques.
• Install, repair, replace, and maintain electrical components and equipment.
• Troubleshoot lighting, controls, circuits, breakers, panels, motors, and other electrical systems.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
• Identify materials and equipment required to complete service work.
• Complete service calls efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Respond to emergency and after-hours service calls when required.
• Maintain accurate service reports, work orders, time records, and documentation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding electrical issues and completed work.
