Job summary

United Future in Milford, CT is seeking a Project Manager for commercial electrical jobs. You will lead day-to-day management on projects ranging from $300K to $4M and assist in estimating for smaller projects and change orders.

The role is 60% office-based and 40% on job sites across CT, reporting to the Head of Construction. Strong field experience and OSHA 30 certification are valued.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management experience in the commercial electrical industry.
• E-2 electrical license in Connecticut is preferred.
• Must have or be willing to obtain OSHA 30 certification.
• Strong field background and leadership capabilities.
• Estimating experience, especially change orders, is preferred.
• Proficient in project coordination and scheduling.
• Familiarity with McCormick estimating software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial and industrial electrical projects across Connecticut.
• Coordinate with foremen, subcontractors, clients and vendors to ensure timely project delivery.
• Attend weekly job meetings and visit job sites regularly (company vehicle provided).
• Handle small project and change order estimating using McCormick software.
• Review scope, schedule, materials, labor needs, and change requests.
• Maintain clear communication with Head of Construction and track updates.
• Uphold OSHA safety standards on job sites and ensure compliance.
• Deliver projects on time and within budget with minimal errors.
