Job summary

Vaco is partnering with a client on the northwest side of Indianapolis to hire an Electrical Estimator for a full-time, direct-hire opportunity.

The Electrical Estimator analyzes plans and specifications, develops accurate cost estimates, and supports the bid process for a variety of projects. Collaboration with project managers and engineers, and knowledge of electrical codes and estimating software, are essential. Strong attention to detail and deadlines ensure competitive bids.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in commercial, industrial, or large-scale residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, systems, and construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and meet tight deadlines.
• OSHA certification or familiarity with safety standards is beneficial.

Responsibilities
