Job summary

Brda Electric, serving Greater St. Louis since 1989, is seeking a Commercial Divisional Manager who will build a stronger department, improve systems, and grow profitability in the Fenton, MO area.

You’ll lead office and field teams, deliver projects safely and on budget, coach staff, and drive growth with clear responsibility, governance, and performance reviews. Base salary $95k–$110k with quarterly bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on commercial electrical field experience; 10+ years preferred.
• Prior management experience including leading office and field teams, delegating work, coaching employees, and managing performance.
• Strong electrical technical knowledge: evaluate field conditions, troubleshoot, and guide installation decisions.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, specifications, and one-line diagrams.
• Familiarity with NEC and applicable installation requirements (code knowledge preferred).
• Electrical license not required for this position.
• Financial management and forecasting: job costing, WIP reporting, budgeting, cost-to-complete forecasting, and departmental performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial projects from planning through completion, meeting safety, schedule, budget, and quality commitments.
• Maintain daily oversight across scope, labor, materials, schedules, documentation, and quality; identify discrepancies and correct.
• Use project performance data to identify risks, make decisions, and follow through on corrective actions.
• Align office and field teams around clear responsibilities, reliable handoffs, and customer commitments.
• Balance workloads and staffing, fully utilizing current personnel before adding new hires.
