Job summary

Solid Rock Recruiting, LLC. in Baltimore seeks a skilled Commercial Drywall Estimator to drive bids for high-end commercial projects.

You will prepare accurate estimates for division 9 packages exceeding $1MM, collaborating with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to capture essential details. Proficiency in On-Screen Takeoff is required to perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analysis, while analyzing drawings and specifications to ensure comprehensive bid proposals.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Estimator in the commercial drywall and/or plaster sector.
Strong analytical and cost-analysis capabilities.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Ability to manage multiple bids and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with takeoff software and coordination with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate estimates for commercial drywall/division 9 packages exceeding $1MM.
Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to gather project details.
Use On-Screen Takeoff to perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.
Analyze project specifications and drawings to ensure complete bid proposals.
Maintain relationships with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
