Solid Rock Recruiting has partnered with a top drywall contractor in Chicagoland. As the Commercial Drywall Estimator, you will bid on significant projects valued at over $1MM, focusing on metal stud framing and drywall systems.

You will work with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to gather details and prepare competitive estimates. You will utilize On-Screen Takeoff for detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analysis while reviewing drawings to ensure accurate bid proposals.

Qualifications

• Experience as Estimator in the commercial drywall/plaster sector.
• Proficiency in On-Screen Takeoff Software is essential.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple bids and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial drywall/division 9 packages exceeding $1MM.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to gather essential project details.
• Utilize On-Screen Takeoff Software to perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.
• Analyze project specifications and drawings to ensure comprehensive bid proposals.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
