Precision Walls, Inc. in the Southeast is hiring a Commercial Drywall Assistant Project Manager. The role focuses on managing and supervising the construction and delivery of small projects, with support from the Project Manager on larger jobs.

You will read blueprints, interpret specifications, assist in contract preparation, develop submittal packages, estimate takeoffs, and help maintain budgets and schedules to keep projects on track. This position offers growth and an employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications.
• Assist in contract preparation and management.
• Assist in developing submittal packages and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise construction and delivery of small projects.
• Assist a PM on jobs over one million dollars.
• Prepare contracts and on-site coordination.
• Read blueprints and interpret specs.
• Review contracts to keep projects on target.
• Manage labor and materials.
• Order and track materials.
• Submit RFIs and interpret changes.
• Develop submittal packages per specs.
• Prepare accurate takeoffs and establish budgets.
• Monitor schedule to meet deadlines.
• Attend to day-to-day field needs to maximize production.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
