Job summary

Bloedorns is seeking a dependable forklift operator who can load, unload, and secure materials, while ensuring accurate order delivery and safe vehicle operation. The role requires a valid CDL, DOT medical card, and ability to work varied schedules including weekends.

You will maintain logs, assist customers, and participate in training to uphold safety and quality standards across the fleet and loading operations.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CDL and DOT medical card.
• Pre-employment drug screen, background check, and MVR; annual MVR thereafter.
• Speak, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic math and measurement skills required.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure products, materials, or supplies.
• Operate a forklift or non-motorized handling equipment to load/unload materials.
• Verify order details and deliver orders to destinations.
• Maneuver vehicles safely into loading/unloading positions.
• Provide customer service and handle concerns as they arise.
• Maintain service, inspection, and safety logs.
• Keep fleet vehicles clean and orderly.
• Observe and enforce company programs and procedures.
• Attend required training sessions.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Load and appropriately secure products, materials, or supplies.
• Operate a forklift and/or non‑motorized material handling equipment to load/unload materials.
• Verify order details and deliver orders to the specified destination.
• Maneuver vehicles safely into loading/unloading positions.
• Provide customer service and handle customer concerns or issues as they arise.
• Maintain service, inspection, and safety logs.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of Bloedorns fleet vehicles.
• Observe and enforce compliance with Bloedorns programs and procedures.
• Attend and participate in Bloedorns-sponsored training, when required.
• Perform other assigned duties, responsibilities, or tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Complete and pass a pre‑employment drug and alcohol screen, background screen, and Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Pass an annual MVR thereafter.
• Possess a valid CDL and Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card.
• Possess or have the ability to obtain Forklift Training certification.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Speak, write, and communicate effectively in the English language.
• Have basic math and measurement skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Work in outdoor weather conditions and subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise, dust, and vibration levels.
• Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, push, crouch, or kneel.
• Regularly sit, use hands, reach with arms and hands, talk, hear, and lift up to 100 pounds.
