Job summary

Bloedorns in Alliance, Nebraska is seeking a CDL Truck Driver to join our team. You will load and secure products, operate a forklift when needed, verify orders, and deliver to destinations while maintaining logs and safety standards.

Applicants must hold a valid Class A CDL and DOT medical card, be able to obtain forklift certification, and maintain a flexible schedule including weekends. Strong English communication and basic math skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screen, background screen, and MVR.
• Pass an annual MVR thereafter.
• Possess a valid Class A CDL and DOT medical card.
• Possess or have ability to obtain Forklift Training certification.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Speak, write, and communicate effectively in the English language.
• Have basic math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and securely handle product, materials, or supplies.
• Operate a forklift and/or non-motorized handling equipment to load/unload materials.
• Verify order details and deliver orders to destinations.
• Maneuver vehicles safely into loading/unloading positions.
• Provide customer service and address concerns as they arise.
• Maintain service, inspection, and safety logs.
• Keep fleet vehicles clean and presentable.
• Observe and enforce programs and procedures.
• Attend required training sessions.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Load and appropriately secure product, materials, or supplies.
• Operate a forklift and/or non-motorized material handling equipment to load/unload materials.
• Verify order details and deliver orders to specified destination.
• Maneuver vehicles safely into loading/unloading positions.
• Provide customer service and handle customer concerns or issues as they arise.
• Maintain service, inspection, and safety logs.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of Bloedorns fleet vehicles.
• Observe and enforce compliance of Bloedorns programs and procedures.
• Attend and participate in Bloedorns-sponsored training, when required.
• Perform other assigned duties, responsibilities, or tasks.

Qualifications

CDL Truck Drivers must:

• Complete and pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen, background screen, and Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Pass an annual MVR thereafter.
• Possess a valid Class A CDL and Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card.
• Possess or have ability to obtain Forklift Training certification.

• Speak, write, and communicate effectively in the English language.
• Have basic math and measurement skills.

Work Environment / Physical Demands

CDL Truck Drivers:

• Work in outdoor weather conditions and subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise, dust, and vibration levels.
• Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, push, crouch, or kneel.
• Regularly sit, use hands, reach with arms and hands, talk, hear, and lift up to 100 pounds.
