Job summary

Carolina Industrial Systems, a DH Pace Company, Inc., seeks an experienced Commercial Technician to repair and service commercial doors and hardware in Durham and the surrounding area. You will install, repair, and maintain various door systems while ensuring client satisfaction.

Requirements include 1+ year in the door industry, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and a valid driver’s license. We offer paid training, benefits, and growth opportunities within a nationwide leader.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• At least 1+ year experience in commercial/automatic/entry door industry preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds safely.
• Ability to work at heights and use a ladder.

Responsibilities

• Repair a wide range of commercial door and door hardware including dock doors, high speed rolling doors, and entry doors.
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services.
• Track and submit job-related paperwork in a timely manner.
• Maintain safety-conscious approach at all times while performing duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

• Repair a wide range of commercial door and door hardware including roll up doors also known as dock doors, dock equipment, high speed rolling doors and commercial entry doors
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services
• Track and maintain job related paperwork and submitting in a timely manner
• Operate in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties
• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring
