Job summary

Himmel’s Architectural Door and Hardware is seeking a Commercial Door Installer to join our team in Tennessee. The role involves installing and repairing doors and hardware on commercial sites, with a Monday–Friday 6am–3:30pm schedule.

The position requires blueprint reading, proper tool handling, and a collaborative approach. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, company paid life insurance, PTO, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and understand directions.
• Care for and use tools of the trade.
• Thorough understanding of carpentry principles and methods.
• Works well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Measure, mark, and arrange materials per blueprints.
• Install doors and hardware using hand/power tools.
• Verify work with levels and framing squares; fix issues as needed.
• Follow local codes and safety guidelines.
• Track progress with end-of-day reports.
• Coordinate with project manager and onsite contacts to ensure completion.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
