Job summary

Pechanga Resort Casino is seeking a DPS Door Technician I to assist with the installation and maintenance of doors, metal and wood, and related hardware. The role emphasizes safety, quality standards, and coordination with other trades to complete project/work orders efficiently.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of experience in commercial door and hardware, with a valid driver’s license and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years in commercial door and hardware.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Must qualify for class A gaming license and possess a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facilities and components to ensure safety and identify repairs.
• Participate in preventive maintenance program.
• Weld door & frame applications for repair and installation as needed.
• Coordinate with administration and other trades to finish work orders efficiently.
• Inform personnel about procedures and status of work orders for safety compliance.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies to resolve safety concerns.
• Maintain all doors in good working condition.
• Adhere to Fire code and ADA requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
