Job summary

Accelera Staffing seeks a Commercial Door Field Technician to install, maintain, and repair commercial door systems and loading dock hardware. You will apply your mechanical aptitude to ensure safe, functional entry points and compliance with industry standards while delivering high-quality service to clients.

The role requires hands-on experience with door hardware, springs, hinges, closers, and low-voltage systems, plus a valid driver's license and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in commercial/industrial door service.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair commercial doors, dock levelers, and related hardware.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions including springs, hinges, closers, and access control.
• Configure and calibrate low-voltage components and automated entry hardware.
• Ensure work adheres to building codes and safety regulations.
• Communicate repair status and recommendations to customers.
• Document service activities and parts usage.
• Perform quality inspections on all completed projects.
