Job summary

Lake City Bank in Warsaw, IN seeks a Commercial Documentation Analyst to prepare and review commercial loan documentation, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. The role requires attention to loan structure, collateral, and terms, with standard processing and imaging workflows.

Position is in-person, Monday–Friday 8:00–5:00 (flexibility to 7:00–4:00 on assigned days). Associate or bachelor’s degree and potential paralegal experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a field demonstrating strength of reading and analytical skills; or equivalent work experience.
• Paralegal experience or quality control experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of commercial loans, mortgages line of credit and bank accounting transactions.
• Personal computer competency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review commercial loan documentation, including notes, collateral agreements, guarantees, and related instruments, in accordance with approved loan structures.
• Select appropriate documentation based on loan type, collateral, and approval terms once authorization is received from the appropriate authority.
• Ensure documentation reflects approved loan terms and follows established loan documentation standards, internal procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements by referencing credit approvals and loan presentations.
• Verify accuracy of loan setup and booking information, including amounts, rates, terms, dates, payment structures, and coding.
• Review loan files and documentation packets for completeness and potential technical or policy exceptions prior to imaging or final processing.

Salary Range: $46,000.00 To $47,500.00 Annually

• Prepare and review commercial loan documentation, including notes, collateral agreements, guarantees, and related instruments, in accordance with approved loan structures.
• Select appropriate documentation based on loan type, collateral, and approval terms once authorization is received from the appropriate authority.
• Ensure documentation reflects approved loan terms and follows established loan documentation standards, internal procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements by referencing credit approvals and loan presentations.

Basic Qualifications Include:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in a field demonstrating strength of reading and analytical skills; or equivalent work experience.
• Paralegal experience or quality control experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of commercial loans, mortgages line of credit and bank accounting transactions to assist officers as applies to documentation, collateral, and billing problems.
• Personal computer competency with emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
