Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant litigation experience.

• Strong substantive drafting experience.
• Experience independently conducting complex legal research.
• Significant discovery and e-discovery experience.
• Clerkship or journal experience preferred.
• Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts.
• Work on multidistrict litigation and class action matters.
• Conduct sophisticated legal research and analysis independently.
• Draft substantive pleadings, motions and briefs.
• Organize and manage all aspects of discovery.
• Manage complex e-discovery matters.

Location: Newark, NJ

A leading global law firm is seeking a mid-level Commercial Disputes Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join its Newark office. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated commercial litigation, multidistrict litigation and class action matters in state and federal courts.

The successful candidate will take meaningful responsibility across complex disputes, with opportunities for increasing client contact and active mentoring from experienced litigators.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts
• Work on multidistrict litigation and class action matters
• Conduct sophisticated legal research and analysis independently

Who You Are

Compensation

Salary Range: $215,000 – $255,000 (DOE)

Eligible attorneys may also receive bonuses.
