Job description

Our team members around the world create amazing experiences for our guests, residents, and partners through a commitment to luxury with genuine heart. We know that the best way to enable our people to deliver these exceptional guest experiences is through a world-class employee experience and company culture.

About the location:

Open your soul to the heart of Mexico. With a prime location on the Pacific coast, Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita celebrates the rich culture of Mexico one epic sunset at a time. Reconnect with family and friends; our “mi-casa, su casa” attitude invites you to feel the true spirit of Mexican hospitality.

Naviva, A Four Seasons Resort is looking for a Commercial Director , who shares passion for excellence and to provide excitement in everything you do. In this position you will direct and oversee all commercial and marketing activities with the support of teams including, Sales, Catering, Conference Services, Public Relations and Revenue Management for the Resort and ensure that all activities and bookings are focused to yield maximum revenue per room occupied.

This is a unique opportunity to lead the commercial strategy for one of Four Seasons’ most distinctive properties, where luxury is defined by intimacy, personalization and freedom rather than traditional resort conventions. With just 15 luxury tented bungalows and a highly individualized guest experience, Naviva offers an environment more akin to an exceptional boutique property than a traditional resort. The Commercial Director will play an important role in shaping how Naviva reaches guests, builds demand and brings its distinctive experiences, programming and points of difference to new and existing audiences, through creative partnerships, compelling programming, targeted activations and innovative approaches to the luxury travel market.

This is a hands-on commercial leadership role for someone who is energized by the intimacy, agility and creativity of a small, highly specialized luxury property. The successful candidate will be comfortable working closely across departments, developing ideas and turning them into meaningful guest-facing experiences and commercially impactful initiatives. This is not a planning committee role; it requires an active leader who will drive strategy through execution and be directly engaged in bringing the commercial vision to life.

About us:

Naviva, A Four Seasons Resort is an intimate, adults-only luxury retreat set across 48 acres of coastal forest on Mexico’s Pacific coast, with just 15 luxury tented bungalows. As one of the world’s most distinctive Four Seasons experiences, Naviva combines highly personalized Four Seasons service with a deeply immersive connection to nature, Mexican culture, adventure, culinary discovery and wellbeing. The resort is intentionally small, allowing every guest experience to be highly individualized, spontaneous and personal.

Naviva has earned recognition from leading travel publications and industry experts, including Condé Nast Traveler’s 2026 Gold List , 2026 Triple Crown , and Readers’ Choice Awards, as well as inclusion in 50 Best Discovery. Naviva is also recognized as a Five-Star property by Forbes Travel Guide.

Naviva is designed around a different way of experiencing luxury. There are no traditional schedules or expected routines; guests are invited to shape each day around their interests and curiosity, from ocean adventures and nature experiences to culinary discovery, local culture, creative programming and personalized wellness journeys. The resort also offers access to the celebrated dining, golf, beach and recreational experiences of neighboring Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita.

We are known to be an inclusive company and provide equal opportunities for our candidates. We offer our guests an unforgettable experience through highly personalized service, distinctive accommodations, exceptional culinary experiences and immersive programming, all framed by the natural beauty of Mexico’s Pacific coast and delivered by highly qualified professionals in the luxury hospitality industry.
