Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring janitorial staff to perform general cleaning and upkeep at client facilities across multiple sites in Houston, TX. Roles include full-time and part-time shifts with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour, working morning, afternoon and evening hours from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Sunday, with weekly pay.

Responsibilities include floor care, restroom cleaning, trash removal, window cleaning, carpet care, stock replenishment, and adherence to the client’s

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 6 months janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and recycle; use of compactors when needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, backpacks vacuums, and buffers.
• Other duties as assigned per scope of work or customer needs.
