Job summary

Oriental is seeking an Analyst, Commercial Credit to transform banking data into actionable insights and to build dashboards, reports, and analytics for loans, deposits, customers, and portfolio performance.

You will collaborate with commercial leadership, relationship managers, credit, operations, and data teams to ensure data accuracy and effective storytelling, enabling a holistic 360° view for growth and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 2+ years in data analysis, BI, or analytics, preferably in banking.
• Experience building dashboards and reports with BI tools.
• Strong understanding of commercial banking concepts is preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for commercial banking data, including loans, deposits, customers, products, and portfolio metrics.
• Validate, reconcile, and monitor data quality across reports and dashboards.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards tracking performance, trends, and risk indicators.
• Own standardized reporting for commercial portfolios with clear KPI definitions.
• Analyze complex data using SQL to generate actionable insights for leadership.
• Collaborate with leadership, relationship managers, credit, and operations to translate insights into business value.
