Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field or 7-9 years banking exp.
• 1-3 years experience in a similar position required.
• Commercial banking experience preferred.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word/Excel/Outlook/PP).
• Experience with financial spread software.
• Ability to read financial statements, tax returns, balance sheets, P&L.
• Regular attendance; Monday–Friday 8-5 with potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with relationship managers to gather and evaluate credit information.
• Prepare written credit analysis reports covering financial statements and cash flow.
• Review diverse financial statements and supporting documents.
• Prepare financial spreads for commercial, CRE, municipalities, non-profits, individuals.
• Analyze creditworthiness of commercial applicants and guarantors.
• Calculate cash flow, leverage, and liquidity ratios.
• Evaluate collateral and research borrowers and key industries.
• Analyze findings and author comprehensive reports with charts and narrative.
• Evaluate credit quality and suggest risk ratings.
• Underwrite commercial credit requests with limited guidance.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and policy.
• Assist with quarterly monitoring reports for classified relationships.
• Complete covenant testing and participate in quality reviews.
