Job summary

Washington Trust Bank in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho seeks a Credit Analyst I–III to assist Relationship Managers in credit analysis and evaluation of loan customers, preparing cash flow worksheets and financial projections under supervision.

The role requires 3+ years of experience, accounting/finance coursework, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently or with others. On-site position with a defined compensation range and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of credit analysis and underwriting experience preferred.
• College-level coursework in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong accounting aptitude and analytical/problem-solving ability.
• Proficient with PC-based financial models and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of bank loan policies and commercial documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with high service levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative or independent work.

Responsibilities

• Assist RM in credit analysis and risk assessment.
• Prepare written credit authorizations and financial projections.
• Develop financial models and cash flow analyses for borrowers.
• Review business financial statements and loan documentation.
• Support compliance and risk management duties.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance.
• Support other department duties as needed.
