General Legal is an AI-native law firm seeking an Associate Commercial Counsel to draft, review, and negotiate high-volume technology and commercial agreements. You’ll work end to end with AI-native workflows and senior attorneys, focusing on risk identification and efficient deal progression in a remote-friendly setting.

You’ll join a fast-growing team with opportunities for ownership, mentorship, and growth into senior commercial counsel work, while applying strong drafting and communication

Qualificações

• J.D. from an accredited law school with active bar membership in good standing.
• 3+ years of experience in commercial contracts, technology transactions, or another drafting-heavy practice area.
• Genuine interest in the technology industry and using AI/technology in practice.

Responsabilidades

• Draft, review, and negotiate a high-volume of technology and commercial agreements (SaaS, vendor, licensing, partnerships).
• Use AI legal technology daily to speed up drafting, review, and issue-spotting.
• Advise clients directly on commercial risk and contract strategy, in plain language for business stakeholders.
• Identify process improvements and surface opportunities to firm leadership.
