Canto is hiring its first in‑house Commercial Counsel to own end‑to‑end contracting operations and drive growth through scalable legal processes. You will negotiate MSAs, DPAs, NDAs and subscription agreements, while partnering with Sales, Finance, and leadership to enable rapid deal cycles.

Based in the US with remote EST & CST preference, you will implement a modern CLM system and leverage AI‑driven tools to improve efficiency and reduce reliance on external counsel, helping Canto scale its

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of legal experience in SaaS or technology.
• Strong experience negotiating commercial SaaS agreements, including MSAs, subscription agreements, DPAs, and NDAs.
• Working knowledge of data privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA).
• Ability to build processes from scratch in a scaling environment.
• Experience partnering with Sales and go‑to‑market teams in a high‑velocity environment.
• Interest in legal technology and AI‑driven workflows.
