Job summary

Redis in the United States is seeking a commercial attorney to join the global legal team. You’ll draft, review, and negotiate SaaS subscriptions, licenses, NDAs, DPAs, and vendor contracts, partnering with sales, product, and security from day one.

With 2–4 years of experience in tech transactions, you’ll shape product launches, advise on privacy (GDPR/CCPA), implement AI-powered templates, and help build scalable playbooks. JD and US bar required; interest in IPO journey valued.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school and active US state bar.
• 2–4 years of experience in commercial, SaaS, or technology transactions.
• Familiarity with data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) and software licensing models.
• Curiosity to understand business problems and ownership mindset.
• Clear, concise communication and strong organizational skills.
• Interest in AI-based legal tools and automation.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including SaaS subscriptions, licenses, NDAs, DPAs, and vendor contracts.
• Support senior counsel on complex deal structuring and negotiations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Finance, Deal Desk, Product, and Security to align contracts with business goals.
• Support product launches by drafting and reviewing customer-facing terms and go-to-market agreements.
• Advise on privacy matters and support compliance with data protection regulations.
• Improve contract templates, playbooks, and processes, including AI-powered tools.
• Provide practical, business-oriented legal guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Opportunities to collaborate in the broader book of business in the Legal Team.
