San Francisco Compute Company seeks a Commercial Counsel to build and scale its commercial legal function for AI infrastructure growth. You will partner with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Engineering to structure, negotiate, and execute high-impact agreements while managing risk.

This onsite role collaborates closely with leadership and teams across the organization. The ideal candidate has a JD, CA bar admission preferred, 3–5+ years of experience, and strong experience in complex tech

Competenze

• JD from an accredited law school and bar membership in at least one US state.
• 3-5+ years legal experience, including at a leading law firm or in-house team.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial technology agreements.
• Experience supporting technology companies, cloud infrastructure, AI, data centers, SaaS, hardware preferred.
• Ability to translate complex technical products into practical legal solutions.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Mansioni

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements (enterprise customer agreements, MSAs, vendor agreements, technology agreements, partnerships, NDAs).
• Partner with Sales, BD, Finance, Operations, and Engineering to structure deals balancing objectives and risk.
• Serve as trusted legal advisor on contract strategy, negotiation approaches, and business tradeoffs.
• Support transactions involving AI infrastructure, compute services, data centers, tech partnerships, and strategic initiatives.
• Develop and improve contract processes, playbooks, and frameworks for speed and controls.
• Identify legal, regulatory, privacy, IP, and operational considerations impacting commercial activities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive deals from discussions to execution.
• Bring ownership and sound judgment to evolving legal challenges as the company scales.
