Job summary

Waymo LLC, the autonomous driving technology leader, seeks a Commercial Counsel to draft and negotiate commercial agreements, support partnerships and strategic initiatives across the United States in a hybrid role reporting to a Senior Counsel.

You will collaborate with business development, supply chain, engineering and finance teams, advise on regulatory, IP and contract strategy, and drive efficient negotiation processes while scaling technologies.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience advising on commercial agreements, strategic partnerships and intellectual property matters.
• Experience drafting tech transaction agreements; licenses, supply chain agreements and services agreements.
• JD degree and bar admission required; admitted in state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, with a focus on strategic partnerships and IP.
• Advise business and cross functional stakeholders on legal issues, regulatory considerations, and negotiation strategy.
• Support continuous improvement of processes, forms and operations within the legal department.
