Job summary

Lovable is building a rapid-growth AI software platform and seeks a seasoned commercial lawyer who has negotiated with hyperscalers and AI labs to structure enterprise AI partnerships. The role can be based in NYC, Stockholm, or London and requires deep AI contract and go-to-market experience.

You will own key AI deals, advise product teams, draft MSAs/DPAs/providers terms, and translate regulatory requirements into commercial terms that sustain momentum and compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years legal experience, including 3+ years in-house at an AI-native startup or scale-up.
• Experience negotiating with hyperscalers, frontier labs, and enterprise buyers.
• Strong product counsel instincts for AI initiatives from early stages.
• Ability to draft/negotiate MSAs, Enterprise T&Cs, DPAs, and related terms.
• Comfortable cross-functional partnership with Product, Partnerships, Sales, Security, and Finance.
• Fluent in AI governance, data-use concerns, and major regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, GDPR, Data Act, US developments).

Responsibilities

• Own strategic AI deals: Lead negotiation of agreements with hyperscalers, frontier labs, and key technology partners.
• Partner with Product and Partnerships: Structure the deal, surface issues early, and move to close.
• Support GTM and Sales: Independently negotiate MSAs, enterprise T&Cs, DPAs, and other tech agreements.
• Raise the floor: Use Lovable and AI tools to extend leverage and speed up deals.
• Regulatory translation: Anticipate EU/US requirements and turn compliance into commercial advantage.
• Audit-ready hygiene: Keep deals clean, documented, and consistent.
