Job summary

K&D Factory Service is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician (Hot side) to join our Pennsylvania team for full-time work across our seven branches, including Scranton. You will diagnose, repair, and dispatch on commercial kitchen equipment while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining company vehicle and tool protocols.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of relevant experience and strong knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment.
• Strong knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems.
• Driving record must align with our safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
• CFESA Certification or manufacturer training is a plus.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Completion of a Successful background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform dispatched service calls, diagnose, and repair service issues, and all other problems on commercial equipment
• Report all service activities accurately on the tablet after every call
• Provide an excellent customer experience in supporting customers and partnering with internal team members
• Ability to work on-call schedule (Including overtime pay)
• Operate and manage company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment according to company guidelines

K&D Factory Service has been servicing the Keystone State since 1945. K&D specializes in the repair of commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and food service equipment in restaurants, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes. Our technicians are servicing the Pennsylvania area out of 7 branches in Harrisburg, York, Lancaster, Williamsport, Allentown, Altoona, and Scranton. We are seeking Technicians with 2+ years of industry or related experience to join our team!

What You'll Do:
