Job summary

K&D Factory Service is hiring a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician to service Pennsylvania restaurants and institutions from multiple locations. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing commercial kitchen equipment, reporting activities, and delivering outstanding customer support while following safety and schedule guidelines.

The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of experience, strong knowledge of gas/steam/electrical/mechanical systems, and a valid background check with drug

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems.
• CFESA Certification or manufacturer training is a plus.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform dispatched service calls, diagnose, and repair service issues on commercial equipment.
• Report all service activities accurately on the tablet after every call.
• Provide excellent customer experience and support to customers and internal teams.
• Work on-call schedule with overtime pay.
• Operate and manage company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment per guidelines.

K&D Factory Service has been servicing the Keystone State since 1945. K&D specializes in the repair of commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and food service equipment in restaurants, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes. Our technicians are servicing the Pennsylvania area out of 7 branches in Harrisburg, York, Lancaster, Williamsport, Allentown, Altoona, and Scranton. We are seeking Technicians with 2+ years of industry or related experience to join our team!

What You’ll Do:

• Perform dispatched service calls, diagnose, and repair service issues, and all other problems on commercial equipment
• Report all service activities accurately on the tablet after every call
• Provide an excellent customer experience in supporting customers and partnering with internal team members
• Ability to work on-call schedule (Including overtime pay)
• Operate and manage company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment according to company guidelines

What You Need to Apply:

• 2+ years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment or in a related industry
• Strong Knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems
• Driving record must align with our safety standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset
• CFESA Certification or manufacturer training is a plus!
• Must be 18 years of age
• Completion of a Successful background check and drug screen
