Job summary

Colibri Group is seeking a Commercial Contracts Attorney to join its Legal, Regulatory and Compliance team in the United States. You will lead drafting and negotiation of a broad range of commercial agreements, while shaping templates, playbooks and lifecycle processes.

The role includes supervising contract staff and partnering with Sales, Finance, Privacy, and other teams to manage risk and drive business objectives. The successful candidate will have a JD, active U.S.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state bar.
• Approximately 5–8 years of relevant legal experience, including drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Experience negotiating for both customer and vendor perspectives; data processing/privacy provisions.
• Experience using contract lifecycle management and AI-enabled contract review tools.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements for customers and vendors.
• Independently manage routine to moderately complex negotiations from intake to execution.
• Escalate to General Counsel when needed and translate objectives into contract terms.
• Collaborate with business teams to align contracts with commercial goals.
• Help design scalable contracting processes, templates, playbooks and escalation standards.
• Supervise and develop contract specialists and related staff.
