KPMG LLP is seeking an Assistant General Counsel – Commercial Contracting to join our Office of General Counsel. You will serve as a trusted adviser on complex client-facing agreements across the firm's Audit, Tax and Advisory practices.

The role requires negotiating master services agreements, engagement terms, and staying aligned with professional standards and risk management. You will provide timely regulatory counsel, working with Risk Management and Information Security to resolve

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of recent progressive legal experience negotiating complex commercial transactions.
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar license.
• Experience advising on regulatory matters is a plus.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as legal advisor across Audit, Tax and Advisory.
• Structure, draft, review and negotiate complex client-facing commercial agreements.
• Provide real-time counsel on regulatory requirements and standards.
• Collaborate with Risk Management, Information Security and Practice Advisory to resolve multi-disciplinary issues.
