Job summary

Perry Homes seeks an experienced Counsel to support the Director, Senior Counsel in delivering legal advice on commercial contracts. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex agreements, managing contract risk, and advising internal clients across departments.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of counsel experience, JD from an accredited law school, and strong MS Office skills. Will work closely with multiple internal clients and may handle land acquisition work as needed.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school required.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant Counsel experience.
• Demonstrated computer skills including MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Current, valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate various contracts and transactional documents that meet risk standards.
• Identify and resolve project and business risks creatively.
• Advise business units on legal risk and compliance for their initiatives.
• Provide sound legal advice related to contracts including MSAs, software licensing and vendor agreements.
• Oversee Company’s contract management platform.
• Handle corporate documents, land acquisition work, and related matters.
• Monitor relevant legal developments impacting the business.
