Job summary

Northstar Construction Services in Houston, TX seeks a seasoned Superintendent to lead on-site operations across multiple commercial projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget adherence.

You will coordinate field staff, trade partners, and clients, review plans, permits, and specs, track progress with three-week lookaheads, and enforce Northstar’s standards. Travel is required across multiple jobsites.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial construction superintendent experience.
• Experience on ground-up, retail, office or restaurant projects.
• Willing to travel most of the time.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily field operations and lead project teams.
• Develop lookaheads and track milestone progress.
• Ensure safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, architects and engineers.
• Document submittals, RFIs, inspections, and reports.
