Buildify General Contractors LLC in Tampa, FL is seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent to own day-to-day field operations on commercial TI projects from mobilization through closeout. You will work with Project Managers, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and leadership to keep projects safe, organized, and built to high standards.

This hands-on role rewards problem-solving, coordinating trades, and accountability for schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supervising commercial construction projects.
• Experience with commercial tenant improvement (TI) construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and trades.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening and criminal background check.

About the Position

As a Project Superintendent at Buildify, you will take ownership of the day-to-day field operations of commercial construction projects from mobilization through completion.

You’ll work closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and the Buildify leadership team to keep projects safe, organized, on schedule, and built to a high standard.

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys being in the field, solving problems, coordinating people, and seeing a project come together.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades
• Maintain project schedules and coordinate upcoming work
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and plans
• Conduct regular quality-control inspections and ensure work meets project requirements

• Coordinate inspections and work with building owners, clients, and other project stakeholders
• Identify potential issues before they become problems and develop practical solutions
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and schedule updates with the Project Manager
• Maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and fellow employees
• Help ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to Buildify’s quality standards
• Represent Buildify professionally on every jobsite

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supervising commercial construction projects
• Experience with commercial tenant improvement (TI) construction
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and trades
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening and criminal background check

Preferred Experience

• Commercial high-rise experience, particularly in the Tampa Bay area
• Experience managing projects from mobilization through closeout
• Experience working directly with clients, property managers, and building representatives

Compensation & Benefits

$80,000 - $110,000 annually, based on experience
