Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Project Superintendent for retail/restaurant projects in California, with ground-up and TI experience. The role oversees day-to-day site operations, subcontractor coordination, and scheduling across multiple locations with travel.

The ideal candidate brings 5–10 years as a Commercial construction Superintendent, plus 2–3 years on ground-up projects, proficiency with Procore, and strong organizational skills. Travel required across CA, AZ, NV, WA, OR, ID, TX.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years’ experience as a Commercial construction Superintendent.
• 2-3 years’ experience as a Superintendent overseeing new ground-up projects.
• Must be proficient with computer (laptop), smartphone/tablet, and digital camera.
• Procore experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and complete projects at different locations requiring travel.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, meeting or exceeding OSHA standards.
• Maintain positive professional relationship with all parties involved with the project.
• Coordinate/enforce schedules with vendors and subcontractors.
• Take responsibility, accountability, and initiative to drive projects forward without supervision.
• Proactively identify and communicate design deficiencies, schedule conflicts, or project specific concerns with Project Manager.
• Ensure all work is installed per plans and specifications, while maintaining schedule and thoroughly enforcing quality control standards.
• Track and report all expenses.
• Take photos and prepare daily logs and site safety reports.

SUPERINTENDENT – RETAIL/RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

California based General Contractor seeking an experienced Construction Project Superintendent for both Ground-up and Tenant Improvement commercial projects.

This role includes managing the day-to-day operations of the construction site, as well as overseeing subcontractor coordination and scheduling. Suitable candidates will possess strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and require moderate use of a laptop and digital camera.Must be willing to travel to different projects in CA, AZ, NV, WA, OR & ID & TX.
