Job summary

RUSH Construction is seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent to provide on-site coordination for all phases of construction projects on the Space Coast in Florida. You will supervise subcontractors, manage schedules, ensure plans are followed, and maintain safety and quality control.

The role requires 5–10 years of commercial ground-up superintendent experience, Procore proficiency, and the ability to travel to multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; college degree preferred in Construction Management or related field.
• 5–10 years’ experience as Commercial ground-up Superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to meet schedule and budget.
• Perform quality control checks and ensure safety compliance.
• Read blueprints and coordinate with Project Manager on changes (RFI, submittals).
• Schedule and coordinate inspections with authorities; maintain daily field logs.
• Lead pre-construction and safety meetings; manage on-site logistics and manpower.
