Job Summary

QLM (QUALITY LABOR MANAGEMENT) is currently hiring experienced highly skilled Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate must be experienced in all phases of construction, capable of troubleshooting problems on-site, and have a strong understanding of plumbing and electrical systems. This role is essential in ensuring that all construction activities are executed efficiently, safely, on time, and within budget.

Pay Range

$35-$39 per hour

Qualifications of a Commercial Construction Superintendent:

·Must submit a current resume for consideration

·Minimum of 5+years’ experience in commercial construction supervision

·Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, plumbing, and electrical systems

·Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents

·Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills

·OSHA certification preferred

·Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite

·Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

·Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods

·Capable of lifting 50 lbs or more and handling physically demanding tasks

Job Duration: Long term / Full Time for right candidate

Responsibilities of a Commercial Construction Superintendent:

·Identify and troubleshoot on-site issues related to electrical, plumbing, or structural work

·Inspect work to ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and project specifications

·Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, architects, and subcontractors

·Monitor materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring availability and proper usage

·Maintain daily logs, reports, and documentation of progress and any incidents

·Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe job site

·Assist in resolving conflicts, delays, and unexpected issues to minimize project disruptions

·Ensure quality control standards are met throughout the construction process
