Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in commercial interiors construction.

• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and project controls.
• NYC Site Safety License and OSHA 10/30/40 certifications (ASHE a plus).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain neat records, a clean worksite, and a professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage on-site logistics plans and field procedures.
• Supervise subcontractors and laborers to maintain schedules, safety, and quality.
• Interface professionally with clients, architects, engineers, and building staff.
• Coordinate closely with estimating, engineering, and project management teams.
• Maintain project documentation, including schedules, daily reports, and meeting minutes.
• Lead weekly subcontractor meetings and enforce site safety protocols.
• Monitor budgets for general conditions, labor hours, and site materials.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and approved shop drawings.
• Serve as liaison with municipalities, labor representatives, and community stakeholders.

We’re seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Superintendent to lead field operations for high-end commercial interior projects in NYC. About the Role

As a Superintendent, you’ll oversee all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Physical Demands & Work Conditions
