Job summary

Engtal is seeking an experienced Superintendent or Senior Superintendent for Columbus, OH to lead day-to-day field operations on major ground-up projects ranging from $40M-$80M+.

You will manage subcontractors, schedules, safety, and quality while coordinating with PM and Preconstruction teams to ensure on-time turnover and successful closeout. Strong leadership and a track record on large-scale projects are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience.
• Ground-up projects experience on budgets of $30M+.
• Experience across commercial, healthcare, higher education, institutional or industrial sectors.
• Strong scheduling and field leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations from mobilization through turnover.
• Manage subcontractors, sequencing, site logistics, quality and safety.
• Drive project schedules through look-ahead planning and proactive coordination.
• Partner with Project Management and Preconstruction teams.
• Coordinate inspections, owner walkthroughs, punch lists and closeout.
• Mentor Assistant Superintendents and developing field staff.
