Pillar Construction Company LLC is seeking a Site Supervisor to lead field operations at our Sylvan Lake site. You will drive daily site activities, align subcontractors with project schedules, and ensure safety and quality on commercial construction projects.

This full-time role offers a salary range of $75,000–$110,000 with commission, a family-friendly environment, and opportunities for advancement as we expand nationwide. Monday–Friday, onsite. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of onsite construction supervision or field leadership.
• Proven ability to lead subcontractors while maintaining high quality standards.
• Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints.

Job Overview

• Company: Pillar Construction Company LLC.
• Salary/Pay Rate: $75,000 - $110,000 per year (Salary + Commission).
• Location: Onsite (Sylvan Lake, MI).
• Job/Employment Type: Full-Time.

You will serve as the primary onsite leader, ensuring every project phase is executed with precision and professionalism. How You Will Make An Impact

• Orchestrate daily site activities to maintain strict adherence to project timelines and milestones.
• Cultivate productive, professional relationships with subcontractors and municipal inspectors to ensure seamless project flow.
• Interpret architectural and structural plans with high accuracy to guide field execution and prevent costly errors.
• Execute hands-on completion of punch list items to guarantee a flawless final product for the client.
• Document project progress through detailed daily reports to maintain clear communication with the operations team.
• Resolve onsite logistical challenges and technical obstacles immediately to keep the field team moving forward.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in onsite construction supervision or field leadership.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate subcontractors while maintaining high quality standards.
• Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and technical specifications.
• Demonstrated experience in managing project schedules and meeting critical deadlines.
• Technical aptitude to personally handle minor repairs and finish work as needed to close out projects.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in a "ground-up" or commercial tenant improvement environment.
• Strong track record of successful interactions with local building inspectors and regulatory officials.
• Experience working within a small, fast-paced family business environment.
