Job summary

Infinity Building Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead commercial projects across Washington, DC area.

You will oversee field operations, coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules in Procore, and ensure safety and quality on every phase. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial construction supervision, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with Office365.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction supervision or equivalent.
• Experience on restaurant, retail, hospitality, medical, or base-building projects.
• Procore construction management software experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction means, methods, and standards.
• Proficiency with Office365 applications.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and documents.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality control.
• OSHA 30 certification or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

Infinity Building Services, based in Bowie, MD, is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead commercial construction projects from start to finish. We specialize in restaurant, retail, hospitality, office, medical, early learning center, and commercial base-building projects throughout Maryland, Washington, DC, and Virginia.

Compensation

Competitive compensation package. Salary to be determined based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated performance, not strictly based on the salary range posting requirement.

What You'll Do

As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities and ensuring projects are executed efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all daily on-site construction operations.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules using Procore and other project management tools.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Enforce project safety requirements and maintain OSHA compliance.
• Identify and resolve construction issues proactively to keep projects on track.
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates to project managers and leadership.
• Ensure all work meets company, client, and industry standards.
• Provide leadership, direction, and support to field personnel and subcontractors.
• Maintain project documentation and field reports through Procore.

Qualifications

Preferred

• 5+ years of experience as a commercial construction superintendent or in a comparable field leadership role.
• Experience working on restaurant, retail, hospitality, medical, early learning center, office, and/or base building construction projects.
• Experience with Procore construction management software.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction means, methods, and best practices.
• Proficiency with Office365 applications.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Proven experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to jobsite safety and quality control.
• Knowledge of construction estimating and budgeting principles.
• OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training.
• CPR and First Aid training.
