REVI Construction in Palatka, Florida is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager / Estimator. This full-time role leads estimating, buyout, and project management for assigned commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of commercial GC experience, strong cost control, schedules, client communication, and proficiency with MS Excel and takeoff tools. Travel to Northeast Florida project sites may be required.

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager / Estimator who can price work accurately and manage projects successfully from preconstruction through closeout. This position works directly with company leadership and offers the opportunity to help shape our processes and grow with the company.

The Role

You will lead estimating, buyout, and project management for assigned commercial construction projects. We need someone who understands how a project is built, identifies scope gaps before they become problems, and takes ownership of budget, schedule, quality, and client communication.

Key Responsibilities

Estimating and Preconstruction

• Review drawings, specifications, addenda, and site conditions to develop complete project scopes.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs, detailed estimates, budgets, and bid proposals.
• Solicit subcontractor and supplier pricing, compare proposals, and resolve scope gaps and exclusions.
• Identify constructability concerns, project risks, long-lead materials, and value-engineering opportunities.
• Participate in site visits, pre-bid meetings, and client presentations.
• Develop preliminary schedules and support final pricing decisions with company leadership.

Project Management

• Manage assigned projects from award through final completion and closeout.
• Lead subcontractor buyout and prepare scope packages for leadership approval.
• Build and maintain project schedules; coordinate procurement, subcontractors, and field operations with the superintendent.
• Track committed costs, actual costs, cost-to-complete forecasts, and project profitability.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and permitting authorities.
• Support progress billing and verify subcontractor payment applications against completed work.
• Identify problems early, recommend solutions, and follow through on commitments.
• Coordinate punch lists, warranties, as-built documents, and final closeout.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of commercial construction experience with a general contractor, including hands-on estimating and project management responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare commercial estimates and manage projects through completion.
• Strong ability to read and interpret commercial plans, specifications, and subcontractor proposals.
• Working knowledge of commercial construction methods, trade sequencing, scheduling, and cost control.
• Experience managing subcontractors, project documentation, and owner communication.
• Proficiency with construction management software, digital takeoff tools, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organization, written communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently while coordinating with the team.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites throughout Northeast Florida.

Commercial experience is required. Residential-only experience does not meet the requirements for this position.

Compensation:

Base Salary of $85k-$110k, depending on experience
