Job summary

AllSearch Professional Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for ground-up commercial and institutional construction projects in Fauquier County, VA. The role manages schedules, budgets, change orders, and client/subcontractor coordination from preconstruction through closeout.

The position requires 5+ years of PM experience with a general contractor, Excel proficiency, and willingness to travel to job sites in the Washington, DC region; full-time office work in Fauquier County is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in ground-up commercial construction.
• Experience working for a general contractor managing construction projects.
• Availability to work full time from the Fauquier County, VA office with regional site visits.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting construction plans, specifications, scopes of work, and schedules.
• Experience managing client and subcontractor relationships.
• Ability to obtain security clearance and pass a driving record check.

Responsibilities

• Review construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, contracts, and related project documents.
• Coordinate with the estimating team during bidding and preconstruction.
• Manage multiple concurrent commercial and institutional construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project plans, construction schedules, budgets, and coordination activities.
• Evaluate cost and schedule impacts of drawing revisions, scope changes, and change orders.
• Coordinate subcontractors, clients, site personnel, and internal project teams throughout construction.
• Monitor project progress, costs, and quality requirements and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain client and subcontractor relationships through meetings and updates.
• Conduct frequent site visits throughout the region.
• Work primarily from the company office, with jobsite travel as required.
