We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager with a proven track record in managing justice market projects for our client near Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. This role requires exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills to effectively coordinate multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders in a high-security environment. This is a direct hire opportunity with our client.

Project Planning & Execution:

  • Lead all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction to closeout.
  • Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
  • Ensure project milestones are met while maintaining strict quality standards.
  • Manage and coordinate project teams, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment while driving performance and accountability.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Act as the primary liaison with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate regular meetings to provide updates on project progress, budgets, and timelines.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with all building codes, safety regulations, and contract requirements.
  • Oversee risk management plans and site inspections to uphold high-security standards.

Budget & Resource Management:

  • Monitor project costs, approve expenditures, and implement cost-control measures.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes.

Problem Solving & Conflict Resolution:

  • Proactively identify and resolve project challenges to minimize delays.
  • Address conflicts between stakeholders promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years managing commercial construction projects in the justice market, specifically prisons, jails, or courthouses.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Proficiency in construction project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project).
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, contract management, and safety protocols.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • OSHA 10 Certification required.
  • LEED Accreditation is a plus.
