Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking a Sr. Commercial Construction Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee vertical construction projects in Arizona.

You will manage contracts, schedules, budgets, and communications with owners, architects, subcontractors, and field teams. The role requires at least four years of commercial/vertical PM experience, including 4+ story projects, reading blueprints, and strong negotiation and leadership skills; a valid driver’s license and willingness to work

Qualifications

• 4 years minimum of commercial/vertical construction project management experience.
• Experience with 4+ story projects required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and on active construction sites.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Manage project contracts, subcontracts, scopes, negotiations, and compliance.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, project documentation, and reporting.
• Coordinate owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, crews, and internal teams.
• Procure long-lead materials and equipment and coordinate project requirements.
• Monitor project progress, field quantities, costs, and productivity.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve construction issues.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Coordinate permits and communicate with governing agencies.
• Track timecards, field logs, project costs, payables, receivables, and monthly progress payments.
• Maintain accurate project files, correspondence, subcontractor agreements, and related documentation.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with owners, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams.
