Job summary

IAPMO is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Manager to oversee construction, renovation, and facility improvement projects across a portfolio of company-owned commercial and operational facilities in the United States. You will manage all phases from planning through completion, ensuring safety, on-schedule delivery, and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating multiple subcontractors, maintaining documentation, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience managing commercial construction or large-scale renovation projects.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, building systems, safety regulations, and job site management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all phases of commercial construction, renovation, and facility improvement projects.
• Collaborate with leadership to determine project scope, priorities, budgets, and timelines.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and in-house crews to meet objectives.
• Conduct regular job site inspections to monitor progress and enforce safety standards.
• Oversee permitting, inspections, and compliance with building codes and project specs.
• Procure materials and services while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Identify and resolve project challenges and scheduling conflicts promptly.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and resource allocation; provide progress updates.
• Maintain contracts, change orders, invoices, schedules, and contractor communications.
