Job summary

IAPMO seeks an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead field operations on mid to large-scale commercial construction projects. You will manage daily production, ensure quality installations, and enforce safety standards while aligning with contract documents and codes.

You will supervise electrical crews, coordinate with project managers and inspectors, and handle material orders, documentation, and on-site administration.

Qualifications

• Journeyman or Master Electrician license and 4 years of formal apprenticeship.
• Minimum 8 years of electrical field experience.
• CPR, First Aid, OSHA 10, and Hilti certifications required or to be obtained.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign daily work and supervise field personnel; coordinate manpower with PM.
• Oversee installation of electrical systems per drawings, specs and codes.
• Coordinate inspections; report conflicts; assist with schedule and cost adjustments.
• Order materials/tools; manage deliveries; supervise storage; inspect equipment.
• Enforce safety programs; lead safety meetings and incident reporting.
• Perform jobsite admin: timekeeping, cost coding, packing slips, documentation.
• Serve as primary field contact with PMs, GC, inspectors, vendors and owner reps.
